With the high heat of summer upon us, learn to make homemade dressings to elevate your salad game with natural, healthy ingredients. Join Chef Lisa LaForge as she demonstrates the science and simplicity of emulsions.
Jul 30 @ 12 pm Making a Statement with Crafting
Join Althea as she shows us how she creates eclectic polymer clay jewelry that makes a statement! Althea has made everything from Black Lives Matter necklaces to feminist body positive pieces.
Jul 31 @ 12 pm End Your Work Week with Drag Queen Story Time
Gather the kids, sit back, and enjoy story time with renowned Denver entertainer, Shirley Delta Blow as she shares two of her favorite stories with us about a young superhero living with HIV and a remarkable little boy called Norman.
Aug 1 @ 11 am Get ready – it’s Zumba Time with Chris
Join Christopher Zivalich, a certified Zumba instructor for an hour of uplifting energy! Chris loves to inspire people to have fun and let go of the stress in our lives by dancing.

Join staff from The Treatment Educat10n Network and Clinica Tepeyac for Festival updates and organizational programs and services supporting the HIV community.
Aug 4 @ 12 pm Join David for mind and body exercise!
From performer to music minister to personal trainer, David Corder has always sought to be Out, Proud and Inclusive. This half-hour workout will prepare you to improve the aspects of your life you need for a healthy walk or run.
Aug 5 @ 12 pm Staying Healthy during COVID-19
Join CHN Howard Dental Center Dental Director Doctor Symone Webley, DDS and Randall McDavid, Director of Medical Services as they discuss best practices to stay safe and healthy in all aspects of your personal life.
Aug 6 @ 12 pm What’s up with PrEP
What’s up with PrEP is an engaging discussion of what’s happening in the world or PrEP between Leslie Medeiros from Gilead Sciences and Colorado Health Network’s own PrEP specialist, Christopher Zivalich.
Aug 7 @ 12 pm Partner Agency Highlight
Get to know partner agencies The Alexander Foundation (TAF) and Del Norte’s Chesney-Kleinjohn Apartments. TAF provides scholarships and financial assistance to LGBTQ+ Coloradans and Chesney-Kleinjohn Apartments is critical at helping provide long-term housing for people living with HIV.

Join CHN Development Manager Max Malament along with The Empowerment Program as we enter the last full week of the Festival. Learn the latest updates on the impact The Empowerment Program is having in Denver.
Aug 11 @ 12 pm Prepare for a toe tapping time – the gift of music
Join musicians from the Mile High Freedom Bands for a half hour of toe-tapping music. Since early 1984, MHFB members have served the Denver community through their gift of music.
Aug 12 @ 12 pm Discovering a mind-body connection through Yoga
Jackie Mahrou has been passionately teaching yoga in the Denver area for the last 15 years. She’ll guide us in a thirty minute, all-levels class highlighting how to live well by nurturing our bodies.
Aug 13 @ 12 pm History of the AIDS Memorial Quilt
Join us in a conversation about the AIDS Memorial Quit history with Mike Smith, the co-founder of the NAMES Project AIDS Memorial Quilt. Mike also served as the executive director of the LGBT Community Center of Colorado from 1997 to 2001.
Aug 14 @ 12 pm Join Cheer Colorado as they inspire our spirits!
Supporting the Festival since 2017, Cheer Colorado has been recognized locally and nationally for their stunts and performance. Join them for 30 minutes of cheer instruction and fun!
Aug 14 @ 6 pm AIDS Memorial Quilt Viewing
Join us as we welcome and honor the quilt panels of Colorado family and friends at a dedication ceremony and public viewing at the Cheesman Park Pavilion,
Aug 15 @ 10 am Festival of Life Program & Quilt Display
Join Darrell Vigil, Chief Executive Officer of Colorado Health Network for a live streaming program on the Festival Face Book Page in observance of the annual Festival for Life/AIDS Walk Colorado. The Quilt Display in the Cheesman Park Pavilion is open to the public 10 am – 3 pm – reservations encouraged.
