Get your fundraising started today!

Beginning a fundraising campaign can sometimes seem like an overwhelming experience. By starting with an easily-attainable goal and breaking it down into even simpler steps, you’ll find that fundraising is not only easy but is also a fun way of connecting with people you know and getting them involved in a cause you care about.

Here’s an easy way to raise $100 in one day:

• Kick things off with a $20 donation to your own campaign
• Ask 2 people you know to donate $20 each to your challenge
• Ask 4 people you know to donate $10 each to your challenge

And that’s $100!

As a special bonus, when you raise $100 or more, you receive the official commemorative Festival For Life T-Shirt to wear with pride at the event and after, letting everyone you see know that you made a difference in the lives of people living with, impacted by, and at risk of HIV in our community.

Take the opportunity to get the people you know and care about to support what you believe in. It’s making a commitment to fighting HIV in our community. It’s easy to do and it’s fun!

Gift Matching

Matching gifts are an easy and significant way to expand your impact by doubling or sometimes even tripling your donations. Many companies offer a matching gift program for funds raised by their employees for events such as FFL.

To start the process of multiplying your impact, make a personal donation toward your fundraising efforts, and then contact your human resources department to see if your company matches gifts. If they do your HR representative will get you the appropriate paperwork you’ll need. 

If your company doesn’t have a matching gifts program, encourage them to start one! Colorado Health Network is a 501(c)(3) organization (FEIN 84-0961159) and most donations qualify as fully tax-deductible charitable contributions.
