Building the future of care, prevention, and advocacy for those affected by HIV and other health conditions in the Pikes Peak Region.

Southern Colorado Health Network (SCHN) has served as the regional leader in HIV services for 40 years. Today more than 1,300 individuals living with HIV reside in El Paso County and nearly 700 of those people are served by SCHN’s team of dedicated professionals. As a safety net provider that meets the needs of some of the most vulnerable in our community without stigma, our mission is to equitably meet the evolving needs of people affected by HIV through prevention, care and advocacy.

SCHN’s new center in Colorado Springs will support an innovative model of team-based, integrated care that promotes holistic health and wellness for clients — regardless of HIV status. A larger facility — 10,000-12,000 square feet — will enable the expansion in clinical services including medical, dental, and behavioral health care and help us provide even more sexual health, substance use, counseling and community programs we are known for. All delivered in a warm,  welcoming space designed to build connection and community that moves beyond testing and treatment to focus on physical, emotional, mental and social health.

Our team is changing lives every day. SCHN stives to provide services to those in need and eliminate the stigma that fuels both the HIV and overdose epidemics. Our staff provides free services for sexual health, substance use and mental health. Our harm reduction services are anonymous programs offering overdose prevention supplies and education. Our evidence-based practices include a continuum of care designed to prevent the spread of infectious diseases and connect individuals to essential healthcare and support services.
