Red Ball: A Couture Fashion Benefit
Due to the constraints of the continuing COVID-19 pandemic, this year’s event will be strictly virtual and will combine a series of fashion videos with designer interviews, social media, as well as a virtual silent auction. All funds raised through this event will go to support Coloradans living with and at risk of acquiring HIV.
Check out Red Ball 2020 both here and on the Colorado Health Network Facebook page! Come meet the 2020 designers: DCR Studios and Aaron Graves Design.

What is Red Ball?
Red Ball is an annual signature event of Colorado Health Network which takes place as a vibrant, cutting-edge fashion show benefit. This unique event is intended to showcase the creativity of Denver’s vibrant fashion scene as well as to raise funds to impact the lives of people in Colorado living with HIV and to ignite awareness for World AIDS Day. Historically, Red Ball has featured dozens of high-end local fashion designers, innovative hair stylists, makeup artists, and photographers to produce amazing fashion and hair shows unlike any other.
Over the years, Red Ball has brought together designers in all points of their careers, featuring creations from well-known successful local designers, and acting as a launching pad for other designers just at the beginnings of their careers.
Red Ball has for over ten years been a cornerstone fundraising event to augment funding for the critical programs and services CHN provides to Coloradans living with HIV and other health conditions. Over 5,000 individuals across the state depend on these programs for medical and dental care, housing and nutrition assistance, emergency financial grants, and more. Since the beginning of the pandemic, need for these support services has increased dramatically as already vulnerable people have encountered interruptions to their income and security. Because of this increased need for support, the funds raised from Red Ball will be even more critical than before.
World AIDS Day
World AIDS Day is a day set aside to recognize the impact that HIV and AIDS have had on our society. Red Ball grew out of an idea to produce an event that would draw awareness to World AIDS Day on December 1. The event was created as a means of drawing a different and diverse crowd to an event that would both mark the day of observance in a larger way and would allow for messages of prevention and support for those affected to be delivered to a larger audience while raising funds to support the mission of CHN.
